At 25 Chipman St., we offer private guitar and ukulele lessons designed for beginners and early intermediate students. Led by our experienced instructor, our lessons provide a supportive and personalized approach to learning music.

Meet Your Instructor

Lexie Alcock brings 13 years of guitar experience as a musician and songwriter, along with a background in education and the arts from the University of Winnipeg. With extensive experience teaching ages 5 to 70+, She specialize in folk, pop, and country music and tailor lessons to each student’s learning style.

Current Lesson Options

• Private Lessons: Weekly 30-minute sessions for 10 weeks

• Beginner-Friendly Approach: Lessons focus on technique, playing fundamentals, and developing confidence

• Custom Learning Path: Each student receives personalized guidance based on their goals

Instrument Options & Rentals

• Students are encouraged to bring their own instrument for familiarity and comfort

• Rental guitars may be available upon request, including a case and tuner

• Ukuleles are not available for rental at this time

Our store also provides guidance in selecting the right guitar or accessories to support student learning.

Missed Lesson Policy

• Missed lessons are non-refundable; however, students may send a friend or family member in their place

• If the instructor is unavailable, a qualified substitute teacher will cover the lesson, or a credit/refund will be issued at the end of the session if rescheduling is not possible

• We provide personalized notes and practice recommendations (digital or printed) to support at-home learning

• No grades or report cards—we focus on celebrating progress and accomplishments!
